Call to Prayer

R.G. Humble recently reminded us that Jesus (Luke 11) had a certain place to pray; the disciples had a petition—"Lord, teach us to pray;" Jesus describes our position in prayer—as children: "Our Father." He also spoke about the pattern, progression, and provision of prayer...this last point being, "How much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?"

With this assurance in mind, let us petition our Heavenly Father that He will provide the Holy Spirit's presence during this convention.
